That is my point. You don't finish a map in Pursuit. Nor should you.mvv0105 wrote:But Pursuit GameMode don't use finish and CP functionsMachre113 wrote:It's hard-coded into Trackmania that all CPs need be passed to finish a validation

Re: xray´s tm² skins & objects
Tried that map out. Fantastic blocks! The track was very smooth!
One thing I noticed was the diagonal blocks had corners. Bit hard to explain, but I guess that's kind of part of the block itself, haha. ^^
I enjoyed it! can we possibly see two- and three-block turns in the future?

Re: What new Gamemode do you want to see?
(But one issue I can forsee before I start coding is how to allocate points to different CPs based on difficulty, and making it not necessary to go through all CPs before finishing) Therein lies the problem. It's hard-coded into Trackmania that all CPs need be passed to finish a validation, and thu...

Re: What new Gamemode do you want to see?
Validating a map by passing all CPs do not prevents to not finish the map on a server. ;) It's really simple to put in place: you win some points when passing CPs thanks to the WayPoint event in the script. And even then, a map creator can hide one CP somewhere not normally accessible so that they ...

Re: What new Gamemode do you want to see?
I would think that a rounds-like mode which adds up the times of each map would be a good idea. Let's say we drive on 4 maps and see who can get the fastest time overall. At first map, everyone starts at the same time. The first to finish will be the one who starts first on the next map, followed b...

It would have been better to post this in Workshop. That's where all discussion about 3D models and 2D skins occurs!

Yes, DJ. I do understand it's not possible at this time. This is merely theorizing about what if it were possible. Like I said, hopes.djhubertus wrote:You know it's not possible?

Re: Power of TM
This looks like artefacts caused by overheating / miss functional graphic card. This precisely. When my integrated graphics card began to show signs it was about to quit on me, it started doing this, in Maniaplanet, in KSP, in several games besides Minecraft. I think it's time you get your GPU chec...

Re: Trackmania 2 Physics Hopes?
If one could create a Gran Prix-type title pack in this manner, it would be so amazing. We've already seen what kinds of track we can create in the SRE title pack; imagine a faster and stickier car on those things. There already exists a titlepack like that - but without tweaked physics :P Check ou...

Trackmania 2 Physics Hopes?
Shoddy title is shoddy! But here we go. I was just thinking of the many potential uses there could be if one were allowed, either through the game itself, or through title packs, to tweak car physics. I'm not talking "let's go ZERO GRAVITY, weeeee". For me, it'd be a really neat thing if, ...
