Thing is, I don't expect malice from Nadeo's part, knowing that before Ubisoft ownership they were an exceptionally fair company; TrackMania's expansions were free, as was the TMUF update.

As such I suspect that there's not much else Hylis could do, outside this perk on Nadeo's own platform.

TrackMania is a game series which surely shaped my teenage years in a big way. I'd love to experience TM and TM Sunrise again, but StarForce is a big hurdle. Is there any way you guys could release versions of those old games without StarForce DRM like the Forever patch did for TMU?

Is there any way for me to use the saved ghosts in replay editor? Clearly they are being saved to Documents\TrackmaniaTurbo\~id~\MapsGhosts, but I am unable to import them or open them individually.

I guess. Though just having the ability to validate in split screen would be quite good fun I'd imagine. Players would see the track unfold before having to race on it. I found watching a streamer get less than stellar generated maps quite hilarious, almost as funny as the struggles that followed.

Is there going to be a multiplayer mode utilising the random track generator? Racing split screen on an infinite playlist of random maps is just the kind of stupid fun I'd like to have for local co-op.

It would be great if both the server list and the player list during the game (one which appears with TAB) showed latencies or pings. I recall you argued that adding it would confuse new players.
