This part confuses me, Hylis. Does that suggest that you are going to be adding more weapons later, or giving this power to the community? Because while I'm all for as much community power as is "reasonably possible", if you do give the weapon-creation power completely to the community, that brings to mind the problem of the nuke-tipped-laser-guided-lightspeed-fast-unlimited-ammo-pistol/rocket-launcher combo...that kills everybody else (but you) on a map. :P

I'm sure there will be some limitations to prevent that scenario xD

I just say that if it was good for the game to make many weapon, we would do it easily. It is not because it is difficult that we restrict this part, it is because it is meanlingless to make this without a coherent system.

quantity is not important I think, it is deepness of the combination that is the key

3434 weapons is nothing better than 1, if this 1 is way better than the others.

I hope that there will be more than one weapon: It's strategic and fun to choose the right weapon for the right situation.

I don't like that people can not accept that shootmania is different. I'd say you're all "contaminated" by CoD or such things, but Shootmania is something new and creative. You don't see the new system, players create maps on which you'll play maybe 15 minutes and then never again. And I think it's really better to just have one weapon, because there is an infinite amount of different maps and with lots of weapons the game will be quite imbalanced. I'm looking forward to see how the new system will pay off, sounds pretty interesting :)
