I guess we'll have to change the maps completely to try this out properly. Maybe Nadeo can release a new set of official maps to complement this Elite update so that we can see why it's been implemented? On the current map pack I'm pretty sure people will just rage.

And just a thought... If defenders can camp in a way that 3 guys with rail can see each other, there is no way an attacker will be able to kill them all even if he sees their name tag... This could really turn Elite into a battle of snipe and camp like in public CS servers, with the winner being the one with the best rail aim - movement, strategy and strafing not counting for anything.

And yeah, even if you can't release the update now, you can still update the changelog to 10/10!

With all the respect, choosing laser as a defender is a dumb move for elite , when elite was already balanced. With open beta, many people will play the new elite and not the B2 elite, and am pretty sure they wont like it, and will rage and leave the game. Thats a pretty dumb adddition to the best game mode

Exactly, i dont know why the hell they wuold add that to elite, it doesnt make sense at ALL. its a bad idea, we dont need to test it , its just a bad idea
