Arto-Racing is looking for you!

Post by Florenzius »

After 287 hours – an exhausting time of working – it’s finally finished. :)

We’ve been waiting a long time to finally present you the following: Arto-Racing is released!

We had an acceptable start founding our team, so we are proudly able to welcome our fourth member. Nevertheless, we are still seeking for new members.

We would like to improve our driving skills but still considering the most essential value of any great clan – being polite and having tons of fun.

We’ve made a short trailer about our website.
We would enjoy welcoming you in our team!

What do we provide?
- A kind and polite community ;)
- Tons of fun which will await you if you join
- Probably improving your driving skills
- A modest but clear website
- Having a good time with you

What do we expect?
- Contributing for a great atmosphere
- Being polite towards your team members
- Playing at least one trackmania environment
- Being able to speak English

If you want to join, simply register on ‘’clans.de’’, visit our website and click on ‘’Clan Beitreten’’. On our website, there are precisely described instructions if you want to join the team (Please take a look there!).

Thanks for your attention, we appreciate it. :D
Kind regards,

Thanks for Soprah, with his translation
:thx:

I am very sorry, but you don't seem to be what this clan is looking for. I hope you will find another one that you'll enjoy, that doesn't require English skills.

This post is completely useless and annoying Urinstein,
please stay with this things in SM, at TM we try to be polite and to help each other, thanks.
Beside his young age, he is at least enthusiastic and tries do build up something.
I also don`t want to be harsh to you, I just don`t like such things. Back to :thx:

I might have failed my part on the polite side of things with my sarcasm, but if you wanted to you could get some (constructive) criticism from my post nonetheless.

For example, having everyone expected to speak English, but not doing so oneself is pretty double-standardy and impolite in and on itself.
Apart from that, it would obviously cause trouble later on, when communication gets hard and tiresome.

While spending time with people from other countries is fun, when you need help or generally someone understanding, you'll need to be able to clearly communicate with people. Language-barriers will become a burden very early on. The German community was and probably still is the biggest in TM so that shouldn't be the problem.

Indeed, but as an unexperienced player/team manager, would you like to hear your 1st or your 2nd comment? It is important to leave the over person with a good feeling, even if there are problems. Not many persons want to improve because of sarcasm/hostility, this maybe works in a circle of friends, but not in general. Criticism is better than accusation.
Your 2nd post is better though.
Big sorry for offtopic maniadesign.
