Hi everyone,

The new server for update #2.3 is here :

Just a few bugfixes from previous version,
and physics adjustments for SM (better player vs player collisions, and laser can hit multiple aligned enemies.)

I do hope that's not global or at the very least not in B2. There is enough random cheesy stuff in the game already for competitive play.

Both zips contains 2 scripts which can be dropped from Userdata\Scripts\Libas\Shootmania.

The Airshot.script.txt and BalancedWeapons.script.txt from the 25th.
As you can see their replacements are the Airshot.Script.txt and BalancedWeapons.Script.txt from the 30th.
When unzipping the zip you will get the message: the following file allready exist because of those 2 scripts.

Wouldn't call it Cheesy at all. But to each their own. Interesting to see it come to play.

*Maybe I wont like it. I'm a Quake Player though so, it sounds good to me.

thanks for the heads-up, I'll fix the zip.

(And yes, there is an option for a mode script to disable the laser multi hit, "UseLaserSkewering".)

Just imagine playing Elite against opponents that really are much lower skill then your team. To the point where they try to rush the pole and get lucky.
Now imagine the feeling and how much skill decides if he gets lucky and take 2 defenders out with his shot when your team counterrush to bodyblock and hit him.


OT. xbx, nice. But is it available to disable in Elite? And is it even active in B2?
