What new block do you want to see?

Yea, I wish there was a Start, Finish, CP and Multilap for every track/road type.

Re: What new block do you want to see?
Valley is the first environment which needs new blocks.
We need:
We need:
- Larger and smoother turn for the little road
- Longer S turn
- transitions road -> highway:
- in one block
- the same transition turn that the one which exists, but without road markers
- A simple toll block without a start (like the one in Bay)
- More HD natural blocks

And don't forget the all important single block 90° Tunnel Turn.

Re: What new block do you want to see?
This one is what I miss the most in valley. And afterwards, I wish to have a ground tunnel entry (as in island and bay where you drive just into the ground without the needs of a mountain. This two blocks alone would give so much more possibilities for slow speed and technical maps.Demented wrote:And don't forget the all important single block 90° Tunnel Turn.
And of course a "dirt" finish block (on the normal dirt roads as well as in the forest).
Re: What new block do you want to see?
Bit complicated to do since it is more than creating a block but I would like to see a track piece which can change like a railroad for the direction you go.
Example: First lap it guides you to the right, 2nd lap it guides you to the left
This would provide an easier means to create an alternate lap(s) instead of using tricks to accomplish this such as I did in my track Fading Light
Could work by assigning the CPs to laps
Unassigned = player must drive through on all laps
Assigned = Player must drive through on corresponding lap only
For example: any section of a track that the player always drives on would have unassigned CPs
Any section driven on a specific lap only would need to be assigned to the corresponding lap(S)
The block that switches can also be assigned left or right depending on lap(s) to make more complex tracks
Example:
Lap 1,2 = right
Lap 3 = left
These would get assigned on the block so you can have multiple switches

Re: What new block do you want to see?
I like this idea! Some time ago I made a similar map, its possible but complicated.
But I think should be under "experimental features" because it seems very confusing for beginners...

If there will be a new official title, then there will be new blocks for sure
But for the existing titles? And that's what you certainly hope, right?
No one knows yet...

Re: What new block do you want to see?
Just yesterday I was thinking... "We haven't had any new blocks in a long, long time."
I'd like to see sometime in the future a customizable block with vector points that you can stretch out, bend, rotate, raise, lower, tilt, etc... kind of like in Moto Racer 2 (which I think Hylis may have worked on) or Roller Coaster Tycoon 2. Now, I'm not talking about creating an entire track using vector points, just the ability to create a block up to 4x4x4 that would have clips that line up with standard track blocks. In this way some of these blocks we "Wish for", we could easily create and upload.
