Offline help please!

I bought the game about 2 weeks ago, and ive always had internet since, but yesterday the internet was down so i chose to play in offline mode but it says i need internet to do it...please help. i cannot figure out why it wont work with out internet???

TM2 after mp2.0 update doesn't work without internet AT ALL.

What about the track editor?
I haven't updated yet. Waiting for the bugs to get worked out first. I mostly play and create offline though. I rarely play it online. I was thinking about updating today, but I suppose I'll wait a bit longer to do that.
If you update, then revert back to 1.0 do you still have the new track pieces or do they go away too?
