If you go with raids (basicaly ALL online RPG games) then the number of players may be like this:

single player
-can be simple storyline
-can be hack-n-slash
-can be puzzles
-big boss battles

2-4 player co-op
-healer and knight
-most offline RPG games add a buddy or 3 for added skill sets
-raids against boss battles

multiplayer VS
-spawn points (can easily shift from ShootMania)
-clan system
-PvP instead of simply PvE (or all 3 if you add a boss in the middle of the fight, lol)

Mike, you have good suggestions I think your Ideas are really thoughtout. And while not AMAZiNG ideas their great considering that we know almost nothing about the game. :D

Nope, it's the way to go, it is still a relatively small forum now, so people that come now and then will be able to follow discussions when they're not in separate posts, but for people that are new here, and in the future when thousands of posts are all over the place, it will be very hard to find things.

So please continue to keep things separated, with relevant topic titles.

The minium for a RPG is 1000 on the same server, or the commerce can't be created.
You will never sell your old sword, or your LVL 1 shield.....
Anyway also 250 is good, depending, finally, on the width of the map.
Is to ealry to talk of QM, i think.
For coop, i hope in parties of 5 players minimum, or depending on how much classes we can choose.
So each player do his job: warrior, healer, mage, elf, etc.

Which is what confuses me: How in the HELL are they going to make maps big enough to accommodate the HUGE world that is usually found in an RPG, while making it easily customizable by users, as is TM's format? I know their servers can handle around 1000 players at a time, that's not the issue...it's just that this is a BIG leap from where Nadeo has gone previously, so I'm both curious and intrigued to see what they do...especially with the "3 enviros" format...because that's not enough "worlds" to satisfy the "normal" RPG junkie...even KOTOR, which is, AFAIK, kinda small by RPG standards, has 6 or 7 worlds you can go to, all of which are fairly large and believable.

If there is a cross server (or centralized) marketplace that won't be necessary.
