[Suggestions] Objects import options.

So, I have some requests to add in ManiaPlanet. Let's see it:
  • Custom materials physics.
    We have some list of phythics material. They contains sounds and some in-game physical parameters and properties. Let's do the custom material importer! It can attach texture, sound and in-game physics. Cool?
  • More materials.
    We have materials like TDSN, TDNSI, TDSNE and some more. But can I create that thing:

    Code: Select all

    Texture Diffuse Opacity Scpecular Normal Emissive Illumination
    And that all at the same time to dinamyc object. Of cousre I cannot do this. Very bad.
    Also, why do not added reflection? Maybe that cool:

  • More phys materials.
    I found material "Only player" - that good. But Where material "Only weapons" - It would be cool, if will be special doors-like objects.
  • More physic.
    At this time we have only falling ball. Also this ball don't react on shoots, hits and player. Bad. Also, why do not add some more phisical objects?
  • Special.
    Light. Just a light source. Dinamic for dinamic, static for static. Light can be targeted to something.

Reflectivity : too heavy for some computers... and it can advantage players with High PC (by placing mirrors on map, or just static reflexiv without players)

No reflect for low PC on Water... ... ...

I think that powerful players have are powerful computers

Yes but "Powerfull" players always playing in low to increase framerate (and the ping (a bit))


And there aren't only "powerfull" players

This is not only for players. For example it would be cool for cinematic. And for players that using high settings.

most of requests can not be done for real good reasons (graphic engines can not be made like: adding stuff ony, it depends on much more paramaters and combinatory situations)

FYI, static lights are already included in the possiblity to import object into items, but it's in our list to explain how to import static lights into items. :thumbsup:
