[Fixed][B2.0c] Other player skins do not load in multiplayer

Whenever I play online, other players only have the gray default cars. This is a bug since Beta2.0. I could always see at least some cars skins on other cars before the update. My launcher settings still support the download of other car skins.

It doesn't matter what server I play on, or whether the other drivers are using default or custom cars. All cars, except mine, are gray.

I've noticed several other players around the forum reporting the same problem.

I have had the problem since the update of not being able to see players skins, when playing multiplayer, I can see my own. Have played as much as 2 hours at a time, approximately 5 days of update, and they are not loading. The box is unchecked that ask Ignore player skins, any server same problem all the cars are grey.

custom car skins and nadeo default car skins are still not visable but i expect that will also be fixed soon.

I've seen other reports around too, including players online on servers asking why all other cars are only gray.

I can confirm the issue.
the others player's skins weren't even downloaded into the cache.
In the logfile there are two socket connection errors to two different IPs, probably those of the two other players on the same server.

But in another log where I was driving on a server where there was only 1 other, no such error.

Why don't you let them display?

Check if you have disabled all opponents to be displayed:
- in game press the 'o' button once (o like opponents)
- in the advanced configuration dialog, check if opponents are enabled, if they number is not restricted too much, etc.

I still think its a dedicated bug because it is on any server with almost every player, just ask around who can see skins and i hear almost everybody answer its not possible to see other carskins.
Anyhow, its a nice part of this great game and i am sure Nadeo will figure it out

+1 on this. I've heard it from many players online since the Beta2 update.

Does'nt it seem about time that nadeo pulled their FINGERS out and sorted the horrible grey car skin issue,
as far as i can tell they have'nt even acknowledged... recognized or made known of the issue

Please do not be disappointed by this really very minor issue.
It will certainly be fixed after other issues have been fixed which are much more important.
