ManiaPlanet Network Check

Hello,

I just bought Shootmania, and when i try to run the maniaplanet client, a box pops up that says "ManiaPlent Network check". Followed by "ManiaPlanet allows you to create internet games and exchange data with other players (peer to peer). We're now checking your network connection, so that you can configure your firewall."

There are two options saying OK and Cancel, but i can only click the cancel one. The OK button is gray'd out and stays the same no matter how long i leave it open.

Any ideas?

Hi,

can you post a log of your game ?
Logs are located in your 'Maniaplanet' folder in your 'My documents' folder.

[Edit] can you check if it's not your firewall also ? If you authorize the application Maniaplanet.exe to open TCP ports 2350 and 3450, do you have this problem anymore ?

I tried turning my firewall off and it didnt fix it. I also allowed maniaplanet and it didnt fix it either. I'm not sure how you want me to do things with different ports.

I found the log but I don't know how to attatch the notepad file to this forum.

This happened to someone else and it was fixed by uninstalling and redownloading. Not saying this will fix your's, but it couldn't hurt.
