Only one comment, perhaps make them just that high above the ground that the regular car can pass below it without traversing it, this would be nicer for the replays ;)
If its done so anyone can position the objects in the height at will, ignore it :mrgreen:

The suggestion to higher the Arrows for MT is very smart! ;)

But to honest, i LOVE race thru the NotCollidable signs, watch the video,
or try for yourself, is very fun and exciting...

After many tries, i decided to do not apply variables pivots, and the reason is that you often need to came back and change the positioning of an arrow, so, if you change height, you risk to have errors of position.
In addition, i was very uncertain about increments/decrements: 10 cm steps? 1m? how many?

In the movie the signs are exactly right!

In some more distant future, the signs could be pure light, or made of steam or smoke, which would give some trail when the cars pass trough :mrgreen:

Not trying to be sarcastic here, just clear.

So I downloaded the objects, and use them in a self-made title pack or one someone else made.

Then I make the map with the objects included in the map.. ie here,and there.. done.

OK, now I want to play the map online.. where are these other titlepacks.. oh.. ok search..

Somewhere on the internet.. So you also downloaded these objects.. So its just like a media pack,
yet, for those without, shouldn't the objects, server side, be downloadable.. ie, in the map loading..

Makes sense?

"for those without" the title pack, they simply can't play the map, because it can be opened ONLY from that particular title pack.

I had thought to post earlier mentioning this, yet I deleted thinking nah.. not that, yet its true.

So to use them, more than one object from say 50 titles, to make one map.. Oh for goodness sake,
that is just going too far for block importation. No wonder its not popular at all, get rid of the idea.

It should be downloaded per map, or whats the use. :|

it is indeed a bit annoying, but there is no perfect solution to this.

If you would have to download all objects prior to being able to play each map,
you would have to wait much longer for the downloads (and also possibly for shadow calculations if the map is not actual), than the match duration is...

Huh, exactly the point missed, we wouldn't want any relevancy issues here least it gets complicated on the servers, yet might I suggest, with a fixed the network code, making objects downloadable would increase popularity, much adjacent to other genes available when its requesting a custom mod, sighs, etc, what's a preload, makes sense huh?

Only for maps with objects that is.. next round, agree?

the difference from mods/signs is that map might be unplayable without objects.

Perhaps, a suggestion, Nadeo to create a object bank somewhere, and it can be visible in-game,
only to be downloaded when requested 'thumbnail' or automatic on gameload (option to turn off).

Say it donates 100 planets (to the designer) on first use.

Then when used in-game online, there is sent a request in the track header to download object
from server prior to map entry.
