Re: MAPS FOR ESWC
These maps are so much better than the usual ones, honestly. These maps are picked by the person who probably knows more about mapping than anyone in whole of shootmania.
If you don´t like something about the maps you can give feedback for the author of the map to improve.

Re: MAPS FOR ESWC
Your two maps bas ... well ... you know how to make beautiful map, they're pretty.
but unplayable (like you said, "person who probably knows more about mapping than anyone", he probably knows about mapping, but not playing.)
They're too tall, not really simple, good map doesn't mean "complitated map.
I like how they look like, but the only thing I find good as a player, is MindControl's pole, the rest is just random thing put there to be pretty.
(and btw, for competition like ESWC, with spectator, you "can't" build a roof on your map.
how the commentator will be able to watch the def pos with a roof ?)
for the rest hmm ...
Ricochet is a good map, I wanna play it.
Paladin is cool, I don't like it, but it's a good competition map.
CastleCrasher is ok.
Spitfire need a rework
Collided is outdated and also need a deep rework.
I wanna know how did you build this map pack !

Re: MAPS FOR ESWC
Why train for ESWC , the biggest event for SM, if you dont get to play SM at all.
ESWC has completely different gamesettings & maps. Its not SM anymore.
And telling maps are good when u made them urself is not rly a good idea.
They look cool, but there it stops. I agree with IDRO 100%.
Every week I play 4 cups with always the same maps, but HEY for ESWC lets use different maps.
Nothing ever makes sense in this game. Seriously.
Best solution = Pick the best maps from the current EU mappool. Pick the best maps from the current US mappool.
Mix them. BAM. Everybody happy.
Im not Einstein & this isnt rocket-science. Djeez.
*frustratedddddddd*

Farewell friends and families, I will pay for my crimes against Pro players.dreammyw0w wrote: Also whoever choose these maps deserves 25y in jail.
On a more serious note, some reasons that led to this map selection.
- Maps needed to minimize camping behaviour as much as possible.
- Maps needed to be good looking.
You can't deny that very few Elite maps meet both criterias. And I specifically chose some maps of the current Elite mappack so that players could have some familiar ground.
If those maps seem different to you, that's precisely because it is what has been asked of me for this selection.
The game is diverse, and can feature awesome block constructions. We've seen enough basic castle blocks maps for a while.

Re: MAPS FOR ESWC
Papy i give u a lot of compliments in the matchmaking thread & i love a lot of ur maps.
Even if the ESWC maps were INSANE & AWESOME, it wouldnt make any sense to use different maps in the biggest SM event.
Am I right Papy?
