taxes are applied on the servers depots as well, even if some players wished to be in fiscal paradise

Is this tax just applied once, or are the deposits added to our current total and continually taxed every month ?

part of your capital is transformed from 'active account' to 'saving account' Each month, some planets are transferred from active account to saving account. Depots are part of your active account, so when you will see them decrease, it would go into your saving account. (without taxes) Then, only saving account is taxed in a smaller proportion than before.

It is complicated, but it is done to make the system solid as much as we can find.

Complicated...Yes. But complicated and fair are 2 different things
If a have a ranked server with a 40k deposit. The 40k will always be active and always get taxed monthly. If the rate was 20% it will cost me 8k every months. (240% annually !) This can be offset by the fact that a server can earn planets ; From page 1 ;
Hosting around 10 per hour per player active on the server (sophisticated computation)
(BTW do the earned planets go to the player account or the server account or to EP ?)
So for a busy server, you can earn more than your taxed. But for a not very busy server (which would be common) it can cost you alot

I go back to zero every month, I'm just trying to understand why. Maybe its better not to do good things for the community like host servers etc maybe this is how you keep planets to spend ?

New information about Planets and EP:

we are working on the Planets and EP system. The new balance should arrive on Monday I think. It will be the first one using the new evolution of the system, meaning that players will see the planets they can spend, while it transparently combine both their 'current planets' and 'saved planets' in the background for the taxes computations. This system will be easier to accept simply because the previous system was too much hiding the earned advantages, like being able to convert back the planets.

For me only 3200 converted, a bit less or? Normally I lose about 100k - 150k planets a month... ^.^

Actually as the system changes, the conversion from Economical Points into planets is not available anymore. We haven't yet removed the economical points link of the player page so that's why you encounter this issue when clicking on it.

OMG, then I lost 510k planets now? And don't get them back ever? omg

Also something seems to be wrong with the monthly bonus. I received only 600 Planets but have both Canyon and Storm. In the past it has been 1200 Planets...
