Sincerly thanks w1lla. I think it's mainly a matter of time on many subjects. If we would be able to do everything instantly, players would more easily understand our choices.

It's obvious that some players would like us to do some stuff before some other, and they are right in their own perspective. But it could be long term strategy. For example, I think that making Shootmania was something good for Trackmania.

The situation of TM2 is better than on the previous payings TM while there is a lot of competition around, even with the nice TM1. And we still have to make good demos for TM2, so it's already good where we are.

I expect to see the audience multipled on TM2 within a year, but since I am really bad about timing of prediction, I would only say that I expect the audience of TM2 to grow a lot in the future. It's easier for me to know, since I know what we intend to do or can more easily foresee the impact of MP3. Of course, I would like to share all of our plans, but there is always a step I should keep undisclosed for various reasons.

The main frustration in the tm2/sm demos are mainly that the "whole" title is inacessible to the player, and that being restricted to the demo servers is annoying, especially since there are a vast majority of corrupted servers and mostly abandoned servers, stopping players from getting in touch with the full community. In nations forever you had access to stadium and ONLY stadium. In Tm2 you can access all of the games quick match servers. And that's just it. You can't get to the map editor, replay editor, or painter which was what drew me to TMF firstly. The demos essentially just let you race, not create, or even share.

Sorry for going critical...

Sorry, if I repeat this question:
Will you made "maniascript" more easy for "users" are not for "programmers"?

- Boo45, in the first place, the question of quality of servers will be fixed, since all of them will be available for the demo. There is something done for the map editor, but it's not plugged yet, we will see.

- Harrison_rus, I often think of that, and I have a childhood history of discovering the fact of making things around programming without necessarly always coding. And I have many ways to make this possible, but later. In action maker, you will have something that help to generate a script and may provide some source of inspiration. But the end goal is to have you understand code, which is quite simple once you know it, and so rewarding :D

- Weerwolf, it's true. One of the effort we made, like with the special "extend" and ways to add/change code was to ease the modification of the script in order to help learn. It's a useful step. Our goal is to make some smaller at start. For example, animate the color of the letters of your nickname for some occasion ^_^

of course Maniascript == Programming because it is ingame language and in this language we have basic foundation of programming such as other script languages(C#, C++, Javascript)

Well, going back a few pages perhaps, maybe one step before multi-envrionemnt servers could be muti-title servers for a single environment.. imagine the next map is StadiumPRG, then StadiumCity, then TM2Stadium, then Stadium Racing Evolution....

(downloading facilitated by uploading titlepacks centrally)

In my mind, this kind of solution is really going to help custom titles get the integration they merit, otherwise they stand alone and we have this whole separation of the players problem, and it is a problem.

PS: I made up StadiumCity because darkpuddle's ValleyCity looks so awesome ;)
