Unable to send or receive buddy requests

Hi im unable to add buddys in mania planet, when i do try to add a friend it says the request has been sent but they do not recieve anything to accept me, they show in my list as a pending friend request with a small red cross at the side,
i show in there list as offline, and when they try to add me i dont recieve anything to accept them, ive checked in my playerpage to makes sure the option for hidden is not anabled, im showing in the chat as available, ive even reinstalled my game more than once and this hasnt fixed it, i do have buddys which i added about a year ago and my buddy list isnt full, i hope someone knows the solution, thankyou

Do you have not any buddy working in our list? All fresh buddies?

Did you restart ManiaPlanet in between to see if it is still like this right now?

all the buddys what i added about a year ago work and show in my list ok, since me adding them ive played very little mania planet and just came back, found that any friends what ive added the last few weeks wont add at all, even after a game restart.

not only do i have the problem with sending or receiving buddy requests but also a problem with removing buddys which i did add a year ago

Concerning the login "elly" I see not connections to the chat service.
Can you try to ping chat.maniaplanet.com, and check that the port 5222 is opened for outbound traffic towards this address ?
If you don't know what I'm talking about (wich is likely if you are a normal person ^_^), I'll gladly explain to you in details what to do.

Concerning the login "bab", it seem you can connect to the server, so it's another problem. I don't see any buddy-request send to or by you. I've tried to add you, and everything has behaved as expected. Do you still encounter the issue. If so, what are your friend's logins ?

Hey, Bab is not my login, pprbab is, and as far as i know, diobart sent me many requests in the last few days, and i also did to him ... thx for answering so fast

Sorry fleo, I scrolled too quickly and missed your post.

@Bab : you and diobart were in a "cross request" state (both requesting to buddy the other). It should not be a problem, but since it's quite hard situation to obtain, there's probably a bug preventing you and diobart to accept, resulting in this issue. I fixed it for you and will enquire further. Please tell me if that solves your problem or not.

@fleo : the login "fleo" connects correctly to the chat. I sent you a private message with the logins of contacts that seem in a weird state to me.
