Maybe because you fixed (according to every people i know who has played it) none of the many bugs that were there in the open beta ?
And what's weird is that you're not answering me about the your marketing strategy that is for the 1st time pathetic.

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
Bugs could be anything. Are you talking about gameplay/landing bugs ? Something else ?
I don't really understand why you feel so outraged by all this.
Personally, I'm in no position to talk about the marketing strategy, but Hylis provided you a solid explanation.

You expect somebody like 75alex to mke a proper and precise post instead of stupid ramblings?PapyChampy wrote:Bugs could be anything. Are you talking about gameplay/landing bugs ? Something else ?

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
Hylis has not given any explanations about the marketing strategy used that is outrageous, that's why i'm still here. If he can justify this, then i'm waiting for him to do so.
stefan.fueger : I don't know you, and you probably don't know me, at least i hope you don't. So don't even start with "somebody like".

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
What are you talking about? Is it the fact that we may do a demo later? I am talking of a demo, not a free game that people would regret to have bought today. If we intended to make the game free soon, I agree it would have been sad to release a paying game without saying it. But that's not the case and my answer were pretty clear about it.
Re: Trackmania² Stadium
I understand your predicament, it's just not possible in some countries to purchase the game online.. PM me we can sort something outloxis wrote:really sad
can you at least give us an option to trade a game for another for example canyon key transfer for stadium?? or something like this? please, this is my only chance because i cant buy online. (canyon was offered to me)

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
Well i'm talking about the fact that you could have at least warned people of the release date, and at one place MAYBE explained that no version of the game was to be free, but you did not do that, you just kept silent and one day decided to release the game, without any anouncement, where players just could not anymore access the game, no info, no "thanks for playing the open beta", nothing.

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
That explains it why you reminded me of a 5 year old which got his toys taken away.75alex wrote:Well i'm talking about the fact that you could have at least warned people of the release date, and at one place MAYBE explained that no version of the game was to be free, but you did not do that, you just kept silent and one day decided to release the game, without any anouncement, where players just could not anymore access the game, no info, no "thanks for playing the open beta", nothing.
Re: Trackmania² Stadium
well ignoring his way of telling it i must say that i support his point

Re: Trackmania² Stadium
It was long known that the game will cost 9,99€ when it's out, because you could pre-order it on Steam, even on http://www.trackmania.com/stadium there was a preorder button.75alex wrote:Well i'm talking about the fact that you could have at least warned people of the release date, and at one place MAYBE explained that no version of the game was to be free, but you did not do that, you just kept silent and one day decided to release the game, without any anouncement, where players just could not anymore access the game, no info, no "thanks for playing the open beta", nothing.
I don't see what exactly your problem is. There will most likely be a free version of TM² Stadium, but limited in Features as Hylis already said. It won't be a FreeZone kind of thing, but most likely like the ShootMania free version, that will also be open to the public at a later date.
If NADEO already decided on how the free version of the game will look like, they would've most likely done the same like they did for the ShootMania:Storm Beta players...
Also, on another notice: I pre-ordered the game on Day 1, I'm not disappointed, because I'm happy to see the new blocks finally out, and the so called "bugs" in the engine are just normal for an old TMNF veteran like me
