A few remarks on the new Stadium environment:
- it looks nice and it seems to run smoother than the forever version
- the timer (time left on the track) should be more prominent, I always need to search for it
- the biggest problem I have with the current beta version is that the gameplay feels like driving a bus or a truck in comparison to forever.. cornering goes way too wide and just feels bad (you notice this a lot in speedmaps), like handling a huge car instead of a race car..

Re: TRACKMANIA² Stadium - Your Opinions
My only problem with the current track editor is that when tryng to rotate a block, it's very slow. like if I wanted to turn a block 180 degrees it doesnt let me click instantly two times but I must wait like a second or so before I can rotate it again. Its annoying and it's really starting to piss me off. Please fix this.
I really like the graphical update though.

I agree with that. There are what, 3 or 4 different option menus? There's the one in the launcher, the one at the top right, and the one in the escape menu, maybe more. Couldn't all of the options be condensed into a single menu with tabs to switch between sets of options?Zooz wrote:this is a good postscaramoosh wrote:it's a confusing mess and the UI is so poor, so complex and takes so much effort to performance basic things and has the worst server browser ever.
I was trying to spectate somebody and I couldn't figure out how it worked. Somebody told me you needed to right click somebody's name to spectate them, but it didn't seem to work. I was clicking on the UI, which was probably some sort of plug-in and wouldn't work for that purpose. There was probably a list of players I needed to bring up with some key.
The default camera is apparently "#2", and I thought it would be better if I could play with #3, but the camera kept resetting back to #2 after I "gave up" and I couldn't find anywhere in the options to set #3 as my default camera. Being a controller user, I can't press the camera button 4-5 times at the beginning of each race to get back to #3. Well, I could, but that would waste several seconds of lap time, since the lap timer doesn't wait until your car starts moving (like it should).

The timer is there mostly to make players skilled and stabel, imowiidesire-2 wrote:I like Stadium 2 that's why I bought it but I really HATE the Singleplayer-Timer
and you can practice a track maybe 30 minutes before you race it in official mode (1 try

It would help if we got 5 or 10 tryes per day (24 hour) in official...
Then we can playing a track for say, twenty minutes and then we have 10 tries to get it right
that is more than enough if you practice the track.
well its up to you to practice before you enter the contest

When you set a few runs at about same time or close anyway, then you know you are ready official.
And one week later you play that track again and maybe improve your best and so on...
good luck.

Re: TRACKMANIA² Stadium - Your Opinions
Very pleased with the game so far but ...
It would be nice to have the Podium back.
Hopefully one day we will be able to import TM1 cars again ... even if it is without crash damage
Would also be nice to light up the dark areas/tunnels of converted TM1 tracks

I somehow think/hope that we will get a Podium Block at release of Stadium2 (like the one in Canyon)firstdriver wrote:It would be nice to have the Podium back.

I am not a bad driver. I see your point. But with the Singleplayer-Timer only the 24/7 players have a chance because they can drive the most offical times, when they play so much. The old system was about skill. Now it is only about time & 50%skill
