Postby Enitoni » 01 Aug 2012, 18:09

Hi, i recently got a logitech rumble gamepad F510
And to be honest, i do not understand s"#t about the input settings, its either to sensitive, or vice versa, if someone could explain me how the thing works, in detail, i would be very happy. :roflol:

I think I have a (much) older version of the same pad...
I think we need some more information. What's too sensitive? The sticks? The slider? ... I assume by vice versa you mean not sensitive enough ("opposite" is not exactly what vice versa means btw but I don't want to grammar nazi you).

What's to understand about the input settings? You assign buttons and axes the same way you assign keys on a keyboard. Click on the slot for the action you want, press the button you want... I'm sure you know the drill.
I write soundtracks. I also write singer-songwriter stuff that you can find here: https://soundcloud.com/snowfoxden

tbh, F510 sux pretty much for racing (have same one, so I know what I'm talking about). it has hardware deadzone, so you can't just slightly move analog stick to turn, you have to move it more. video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXReJqf10N8

Damn, that sucks. Is there anyway to fix that? I just got it, and it felt so good on the hands. I dont want to replace it.

And if not, can you reccomend one that is good, with rumble, and does not cost over 49$ (300kr in my country)?

it's hardware -> unfixable. the best pad ever is rumblepad 2, but it's not on sale any more, at least not in our country ):
