Importing old car models to Maniaplanet?

Hi!

Is it possible to convert old car models made in TrackMania Forever that so they will work on Maniaplanet as well?

It used to be possible when the open beta for Canyons first came out but crash damage was not supported and sometimes (only sometimes) parts of the car were missing. This was no longer possible to do after Nadeo updated the game It would be great to have it back if possible and word has it that they are trying so all we can do is wait and see and hope for the best.
