my idea: make the perfect server

Idea started here ^^
really a server that allow me to submit my tracks ? is it free eyebo ?

about that, maybe nadeo, "or someone else" should have a few servers like this
Anyone can submit a map on server 1 - 6
1. fs - only fullspeed
2. lol - only lol
3. 25 sec tech
4. 45 sec tech
5. fullspeed
6. unlimiter maps
ohh wait not many vote but maybe give them 1 - 2 planets per vote and payout when they have 100 planets to collect (50/ 100 maps)
and the last has only good maps that past the quality run above server 1 -6 , (only good tracks that have good rating are here)
maybe have 2 sepparate servers that the map moves to after the quality test like

7. fullspeed is a sepparate one imo
and 8. all other maps without fs becouse some people don´t like fs maps and that is a fact...

would be awesome to have a multi server that move the tracks to another server
when they reach 30 + vote or something ^^
that is 8 servers to make (2 perfect map servers)
and other servers can go in here to find maps for there servers aswell

half of this is in wrong thread but i make a sepparate one about this

Yes, TestZone is free to use.
Just add tracks with /tmx ID
It's available in Canyon in North America\USA\Kansas. I'm hosting it on my local PC.

Your idea isn't new. I think that all Serverhoster work on this idea for many times from TMN till TM²

The biggest problem is, that a little percent of players votes on the Servers. So you can't find a good or a bad Track.

Only the TM-Karmaplugin from Undef give the Hoster a clear vote because you can see the Votes for a Track all over the Servers where the Track ist running. But you dont have an Instrumnet where you can list this over all Tracks wich are running on your own server.

And then you have a lot of Serverhoster who spend no time to filter this bad tracks out and delete them.

There is an plugin for , who erases the bad karma tracks. ( I know there is one for tmnf , tm2 I don't know )

I think you meant the Autotrackmanager plugin Hackie http://plugins.xaseco.org/info.php?id=5
And mostly its possible to port those plugins to TM2.
But an active admin can get rid of bad karma tracks as well

And the minimum payout should be 100 planets or actually payed when they exit
the server is maybe better to avoid to keep track of the score of all users,, hehe (y)

I Think it's better to do this:

Make a plugin which checks for votes of players and paysout if players have 100 planets +(tax) in total after voting

Make a Database with the following tables:

Maps:

In Here MapUid, Name, Author etc which is in the Storage of Maps.

Players:

Login, NickName etc which is in the Storage of Players.

Payout:

A payout table which has the login of the player, the total times voted and make a script that automaticly counts the planets collected.

If 100 + tax it will automaticly be paid out if the server has enough planets.

Well its just a suggestion i made...

If you don't like a map your vote might get a -.75 vote and if you like a map it will be +.75 so its always stable
