Every time I drive loops in Canyon, I hear sound like someone smash my car using hammer. I suspect that someone is hidden in my car trunk and he want to escape. Or maybe it's car mechanic who thinks that best moment for repair my car is while I am driving on loop?
But seriously - that ugly sound is present in this game as long as I can remember. Can someone made fix that eliminates that nonsense sound on loops?
Someone is in my car trunk!

Re: Someone is in my car trunk!
Is it just the car bottoming out like when landing hard?
Or, maybe it's tiny aliens trying to scare us. It could even be a Rat in your car.

BUMP!
Any solutions? Any fixes?

Re: Someone is in my car trunk!
It's just about the looping geometry...
When the meshes are not smooth (angle between 2 faces too big) the car make a noise, on a loop its this noise of every edge so its sounds ugly

Re: Someone is in my car trunk!
Great. So now, when we know what is wrong, can someone fix that bug?
Re: Someone is in my car trunk!
I don't think Nadeo will update the geometry of a bloc...
If you want to drive sexy and smooth loop, try those in TMPlus titlepack lol

I'm talking about sound, not about geometry.
Re: Someone is in my car trunk!
Sound and geometry is interconnected... when you're pushing the car to the limit, the car's suspension bottoms out and rattles on the tarmac, which is "uneven" (uneven material wise, even since it's poly-by poly)rat_in_car wrote:I'm talking about sound, not about geometry.
Honestly I hate those canyon loop blocks, I either:
- slam the wall
- slide off the road -> bump the far wall
- spinout
Either way, I fall down into the water.
(There are the rare chances I make it unscathed, or land on the other end on 4 wheels)
Re: Someone is in my car trunk!
btw, collision ( normally ) can be changed without changing the model.Tipiizor wrote:I don't think Nadeo will update the geometry of a bloc...

Re: Someone is in my car trunk!
I understand that. But still - this is a bug. I can understand that when I enter loop, I hear hit sound once. But sound repeats (not always, sometimes)! When I'm on loop, I don't hit anything while driving.N_A_N_A wrote:Sound and geometry is interconnected...rat_in_car wrote:I'm talking about sound, not about geometry.
