How use your TMUF login as TM² login

Hello everyone,

For those who want to use their TMUF login with your TM² account, you have to follow these steps:

• Launch the game (oh really )
• Choose the option "Create an account" and not "I already have an account" since it's a new Maniaplanet account.
• Use the login and password of your TMUF account

After you have to follow what the game ask but you can now connect to the game with your TMUF login

I believe he posted this because there are so many people complaining about that they can't log in on TM2 with their TMU account. I don't see why it would be possible, they are two different games.
Does Starcraft 1 and 2 share accounts? No. Does Battlefield 1 and 2 share accounts? No. Does Call of Duty 1 and 2 share accounts? No. The list goes on...

It's a service they provided for those who wanted to keep their good old logins from TMUF. So they reserved the logins for TM2. If you don't want to, then it's ok too.

Mysteria9 has right, TMUF and TM² are two differents game so the login system is separate too. We have only duplicated the TMUF logins in the TM² login system to reserved them.

I heard from someone, that there could be a problem if the old tmuf-account had special chars. If I remember right, he has just entered the pw without the special chars and it worked.

Before finding out the ass backwards way of using the same log in/password, I and I know of a few others, already created new accounts for TM2. How can we change the log in and password to the one we also currently use for TMUF?
