No Oculus Rift support in newest patch?

No Oculus Rift support in newest patch?

So a month or so ago Hylis posted that Oculus Rift will be supported in Trackmania in the next patch this month: https://developer.oculusvr.com/forums/v ... 100#p95812

However it seems the patch has arrived, but I see nothing about rift support in the patch notes or in the game.. What happened? Is rift support still planned, just delayed?

Occulus Rift is supported with this update (but only on TrackMania², not ShootMania) :)

Any news when when we can hope to see SM support...

would be good before August ;) (which is when I might expect my DK2) ;)

In reality, I would only use it for TM, but I would love to try it for SM.

There is more things to take into account for SM before allowing it, that's why it takes more time to do it ;)

Fantastic! How do I enable it though?

Also, will this support the second developer kit and its new features such as positional tracking, out of the box when it arrives in July, or does it need to be further patched before then?

It works on ShootMania too but not optimized. I test it and it's difficult to play with it^^.

To enable it, launch a game, press Escape, 3D Settings and change the Type of 3D for Oculus. After press Activate.
The head tracking works too already (but bugged).

DK2 has a different type of headtracking, not just rotation, but translation too

EDIT: Also, I cannot get regular headtracking to work.. Doesn't respond.

Looks great in the rift but no head tracking here either, it really needs it as its not nice not being able to turn your head.

But great stuff, glad to see the support! :)

After updating everything (Trackmania2 Canyon and Valley), I don't see Oculus Rift options in either game.

All I get when going to the Escape->3D Glasses menu is the usual Red/Blue stereoscopic settings. I don't see anything related to Oculus Rift.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there some sort of beta patch?

yeah it seems it is gone, probably it was not stable enough to be kept in the release right now.
