Canyon priorities

I know many wait for Stadium and Valley, but I would like first to hear, according to Canyon players, what are the main thing you would like to be quickly fixed or done on it at the moment, or bigger if you think that there is nothing small to be done before.

It could be that the spectator view is broken and should be fixed in priorities or that having the car location accessible from the script, as well as checkpoints, would open to mode creation much more. It can even be better wheel support, if you think it ^_^ Or the ability to force restart in script or the master jumps that are not working etc.

Anyway, I would like to have what's on your mind. I don't say we will do anything out of it, sooner or later, but even if I have constant information, I think it is a good plus to have you to think about it in a synthetic way.

I think, for what I encounter daily, if not already fixed
- Sound issues
- Car/skin issues
- Mediatracker functions.
- Spectator issues.
- Menu issues.

Menu? What is wrong in menu? But Mediatracker have few functions. I hope that you add more things in MT.

And please, if you can, change trees. SMS and TM2V have 3D trees (In common), but not in Canyon. And some russian people tolking about tunnels bug. (I don't know where, but somwhere :D )

spectator issue (as i witnessed it):
when i switch from playing SM to TM2, i cannot properly spectate other players. that means: i can switch around camera keys as much as i like, the camera stays somewhere out of the track (movable though) and never focuses on the selected player. switching between replay/follow has no effect.

EDIT: Where has that early thread by Jumperjack (if i remember correctly) gone where all the mediatracker bugs were listed? I can't even find it in my own posts anymore. It had a whole list with all sorts of bugs. :cry:

1. Master jumps that are not working
1. Up and down (Page Up and Page Down) objects, like in block mode
1. Spectator view is broken
1. Possibilities to view damages on spectator mode

1. ManiaScript :
+ Access to Server Login
+ Car position
+ Better angle precision in Stunt Events (not only multiple of 90°, but can be 371°, 11.5° or else...)
+ Drift Events
+ Explication of Grind and Reset in stunt events
+ Speed accesible not only in Event

It is nowadays possible to select which kind of data to be send or received via P2P. But this options are still not differentiated enough, as it is still not possible to select only signs. If you want to see signs on the map, you will get also the mods, if you want it or not. For slow internet, this is nearly the same problem than before and you are forced to drive with P2P completely disabled. Then you are lost on all maps with custom signs and this frustrates so much that you lose all fun on playing online. At least in my case, as soon as I come on a server and only see yellow signs I'm shortly before quitting. If you need first 5-6 min to find the finish and then have 1 min left to get a clean run, it's definitely not how the game should be played.
Therefore, please give the possibility to have more differentiated P2P settings and give a function that allows to only load the stuff that is essential for a good driving experience, such as signs.

Editor/Single player
The ingame map browser should be fixed.

For maniascript it would be very usefull too :
- Having a modebase.script for TM as for SM. (Two modebase, one for solo and one for multi, if there is difference)
- Be able to send "Standard callback" (http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 80&t=15125) to be easily compatible with current servers managers.
