Can custom Archetypes be made?

Can custom Archetypes be made?

You can get more car handling types in the item editor, and you can pick different ones, so you can get the handling from, say, Coast or Bay for example.

But now this got me thinking, is it possible to actually make your own archetypes from scratch?

It is not possible as of now.
