I just purchased Canyon online but cannot get the game to work.

I install everything but when I click on the ManiaPlanetLauncher.exe program it gives me an Application error.

The error says: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002).

I've tried redownloading the files but I get the same results.

Anybody have any ideas what could be the problem?

I'd appreciate it.

Umm... I'm just throwing ideas at the wall here, but maybe try to update your NET framework? I've had this problem with other programs when the NET framework isn't up to date.

It would be really nice to know what the prerequisite software actually is for TM, so we can troubleshoot this better.

You need to install Visual C++.

reinstall visual c++ redistributable package and .net framework. If visual c++ redis pack is not installed, the application crash with dll is missing error therefore i think he need to reinstall it.

Thanks guys for your input. I tried what you suggested. Installing C++ pack and .net framework both from microsoft but still have the same problem. I installed the game on my other computer and it works fine, although the computer is too slow to enjoy the game. Its so choppy I can't even drive.

I don't know what to do about this. It sucks I love trackmania. Iv been playing for a long time. I was actually ranked #2 in America on Nations forever for a short while. Maybe I'll end up upgrading my computer, I'm dying to play the game.

Your error is a Visual C++ error and not a game error, try the Visual C++ 2005 or 2008 redistributable and check if you need x86 (32 bits) or x64 (64bits) for Visual C++.
