Hello,

First of all congrats for the game, imo is a very nice project.

I have been playing this game 1 month, elite mode basically.
My PC is almost new so I'm able to play the game at 120 fps with a Samsung 2233rz monitor.

I haven't problem with the FPS this is ok and i can keep it stable; the problem is that even with this 120 fps i feel that the game is not smooth when i make some fast movement/rotation with the mouse i feel like tearing or something like that and I play with the VSYNC on so I can not understand.

I have been changing all the settings ( from highest to lowest) but I can feel it better, also I tried with other mouse(?¿), update the GPU dirvers...

I use to play UT3 and other FPShooters and I have a very smooth sensation at 120 fps.

If you can give me some advise please let me know.

If your screen, PC and all is ok, the only thing that would have such influence is the number of frame buffering: Immediate mode, 1 frame, 2 frames or 3. The behaviour of heavyness can be link to 3 frames. Otherwise, with VSync at 120hz, I can't see reason of bad performance feeling. Do you run in native resolution of the screen? maybe a rescale at high frequency can make artefact, I am not really aware of the hardware limitations.

Hello, thanks for your reply.

I think my pc and screen are ok as other games run smooth.

Please can you explain me better the frame buffering issue and how i can change it? you are talking of CPU/GPU sincro or ?
Are not the frames related with that?

ye i run at 1680x1050 that is the native resolution, also tried other resolutions and is the same.

EDIT: I use the Triple Buffer (+Vsync) but without it is the same.

yes, it is the cpu/gpu synchro I am talking (immediate, 1, 2 or 3)

I also think that you have removed the motion blur

I have CPU/GPU syncro OFF, also tested in 1,2,3 no difference.

CPU is i5 2500
GPU is ATI 6870.

And as you comment I have always removed the motion blur (anyway you can't set different value than 0,025 isn't it?)

yes you can normally, with the ingame settings on top right of the system bar.

Hello tipadawan,

If I do this:
Vsync On / 2frames

the frames goes from 120 to 60.
i think it means give me 1 fps for every 2 HZ of the monitor..

Only played in very high quality with 32/64 players in Shootmania.
With update from 26/09, I can't even play in very fast setting.
And I have no more sound in game too.

Hello,
My FPS drops when I'm shooting(rocket). Doesn't matter how quality of graphic I have...and have freezes when I shoot at a wall or an enemy from close range. I think it's because of the smoke from rocket. :(
2.
Dual-core E6500 2.93GHz
Nvidia GeForce 9500GT
4gb DDR2
Windows 7 x64
3.
Very Fast (resolution 1280x1024)
4.
Joust mode(alone):

I know my PC is not so good, but at the same time and is not so weak...

Update:
I'm updated my video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650
I don't see now "drops when I'm shooting(rocket)".
I still have a problem with "freezes(fps drops 20-30) when I shoot at a wall or an enemy from close range" (First replay). My friend have a same problem, but he has a different processor Core i5.
For example(replays with bench. text):
