It has been over a month since the apparent release of the Trackmania Turbo Trial. It is supposed to show up in the "Free Games" tab on Uplay, but it isn't there for me. A lot of people seem to be having this issue, and I find it a bit concerning that it hasn't been properly addressed yet. And I can guarantee you that if you give me a suggestion as to what to do, I have already tried it with no results. But feel free to pitch suggestions anyway.
Please help. This game has been on my radar for quite some time, and I would really like to try out the trial before I go blowing my money.
Trial version is not showing up in my Uplay.

Actually it was already addressed ... by you in the Steam forum, and here since the release in the following topic:
viewtopic.php?f=524&t=37568 (perhaps start from page 4 or 5 regarding the non-availability of the demo).
Unfortunately there was no useful or helpful answer yet

Today I asked again, and there was an answer:
This means you have to wait some more time, unfortunately.

Does the Trial have a product key? If so, is there any way I could get a product key and activate it in Uplay?
Re: Trial version is not showing up in my Uplay.
A product key was only given to the beta testers. For the demo version, I don't know.

Well, it's been a week. I've been keeping an eye on forums and searching relentlessly. Nothing. Does anyone have ANYTHING helpful?
Re: Trial version is not showing up in my Uplay.
The trial has no product key. I played the trial last weekend before my purchase and checked at that time as I was learning the in's and out's of Uplay (never used it before).
Sounds like it could be a region restriction or some such thing. If you're interested in a trial you can always play the trial versions of Canyon, Valley, and Stadium as they are 99% the same thing.
The Turbo trial is restricted to the first 5 tracks of the campaign and are only the first 5 Canyon tracks. The multiplayer part of the trial is restricted to 1 hour and only allows you to play Canyon only rooms. So, if you've played Canyon before, then you've essentially played the Turbo trial.

If it is a regional restriction or if the trial has a later release date in the US (or parts of the US), then they have failed to make that clear.
I actually already have all of the current TrackMania 2 environments, and have clocked 385 hours on Canyon (I don't leave my games open in the background while I do stuff, so this is pretty accurate). I want to try out the TrackMania Turbo trial to see if the new features are worth buying all the environments a second time. I know I won't have access to all the features in the trial, but it would still be nice to try it without spending $40 on a product that I may or may not like.

Well in the Demo you can only play Canyon as i heard. I dunno what other restrictions there are.
For the rest just look at the other threads in this forum and you'll have quite a good vision of the game.
In my opinion, it's not really necessary to buy Turbo, because, as you stated, there is only one new Environment and the rest got just some visual improvements. It's more like a spin-off and no real sequel to the series.
Lagoon will also release for Maniaplanet sooner or later so really there is nothing interesting for you except if you really really want to try out Lagoon before it releases for the main game.

Re: Trial version is not showing up in my Uplay.
I am aware that the Canyon environment is the only one available through the trial. I am aware that this is a spinoff and not a sequel. I am aware that in terms of gameplay in itself, it is pretty much exactly the same as the TrackMania 2 games. The reasons I want this game are:
1. I dig the arcade theme. Not necessarily because of the fact that it's arcade-y in itself, but I really like when games give good player feedback. The dynamic soundtrack seems like a great means of player feedback, and I feel like it would give the gameplay more substance overall.
2. Due to its streamlined and apparently more user-friendly UI, this game seems like it would be awesome as a party game (especially double driver mode). Yeah, the TrackMania 2 games have local split screen, but let's face the facts; the UI for the TrackMania 2 games isn't very good at all. Believe me, I've tried setting those games up for local split screen. The setup process was tedious, and the actual gameplay was a mess. I suppose there IS hotseat, though...
I'm pretty sure the streamlined UI and the arcade-style feedback are included in the trial. I would try it, but it seems like the people responsible for this are dragging their asses when it comes to this issue. As a person who genuinely loves TrackMania and hasn't had any problems with the games up to this point (other than the bad UI and the useless official tutorials for things like mediatracker, modding, video shooting, etc), I find this very upsetting.
