AMD 5780 issues

Post by TMarc »

Hello,

in Steam the user manoliswec reports an issue with blurry and extreme bloom.

Did anyone encounter the same issue, and how did you fix it?

I have the same issue and even though I reset the Config to a new setting the same issue persists.

I have Nvidia 980GTX card and have never noticed until I played the game again. Very recent. Last week.

The Alpine GFX are also corrupt as the wood now just looks like a smudge of brown floor. I do remember the GFX where much better than this at one time. Or my brain if filling in the gaps. Making the game sweater than I thought. Here are some images, but I am sure the wood looked like wood. Not Smudge.

Could you please check your Launcher settings, advanced video configuration?
Make sure that the preset is not set to Very Fast.
If you want to change setttings, first set to None, and then customize.

Also check at the compatibility button that AGP usage is set to 100%

On top, you have set the checkbox "Customize [x]", but you also need to set the Preset now to "None" in order to be able to change the other settings.

I would set the Antialiasing to none.
Try Shader Quality PC3 low or even PC2.
Max Filtering set to Anisotropic 4x should be sufficient.

On the right, disable PostProcess FX, disable Motion Blur.

In the compatibility settings, disable AGP usage to see if it makes a difference.

Also make sure that the same settings are selected in the nvidia control panel, when you setup Trackmania there (both the game exe and the launcher exe).

And, if anything goes wrong, delete the file Default.SystemConfig.Gbx from your disk, it will be created automatically with best matching default settings.

But you know well that your screens are from TMUF and that this is the wrong forum for it? ;)

What's funny is the reading of the wording Trackmania and the use of the old config/naming still used in Trackmania 2. And the way you asked I read it funny. Thanks for the advice so far though. We can delete it from here ill take picture of advice so far try that.
