[B.0] Horrible lag when shadows not rendered
I've noticed that I get some pretty insane lag when I either... A. Build something that is not "Day" and don't render the shadows, or B. Render the shadows, add stuff, then race. I also had problems with this in SM. Also, it seemed to get laggier as I got closer to the non-rendered shadow ...

It may be helpful if a computer spec list was compiled for those having the crashes. It may very well just be an AMD driver problem, but we shouldn't assume that. Thus far, I've had no crashes in SM nor TM2 thus far, though I'll do some testing to make sure. Btw, @OP about how long does it run befor...

In the upper right-hand corner is a button that will allow you to run the game in a window, if you like. Also, the + button at the bottom allows you to manage the layout of the titles installed. As for the Ubisoft login, I am a little surprised that it did not accept it, though MP is kind-of its own...

Wow, thanks for all the info. I'm not having any lag on my GTX680+i73770k, but i'm sure this will help others tweak and resolve their input lag problems.

I've been trying to help with fps optimization, however, since my computer seems to run everything on this game completely maxed with no lag, I can't really say where the big lag points are. Though, on my old HD5970, tweaking the CPU/GPU sync and Display Sync settings really made the difference. EDI...

First of all, you're missing part of your subject line, you may want to provide a small description of the problem in the title. Also, keep in mind that TMF and ManiaPlanet run on completely different engines. MP is much more resource-intensive than TMF. In-game, make sure your CPU/GPU sync setting ...

I'm not an expert on what it ACTUALLY does, but I believe how the game works is that the CPU/GPU sync attempts at syncing the Frame processing in the GPU to the core clock of the CPU. So, in theory, the GPU is told to do so many frames in a certain amount of CPU clock cycles. Now I'm really not sure...
