Re: Siege Mode reload times are imbalanced
Heh, guess I severely underestimated the Nucleus, then. I guess it's fine as is. I think we can all agree the railgun in Siege is OP as it stands, though.

Re: [Maniascript] Disable knockback
Hey, pushing teammates into the force fields in jail isn't griefing, it's the proper way to play the mode!

Re: Siege Mode reload times are imbalanced
You just have to learn to play. A proper nucleus can be more valuable than anything else. Come on. The Nucleus can be powerful, yes, but it's also by far the hardest weapon to use, and by no means needs a nerf like it has now. Right now, the Nucleus is all but pointless in Siege - even people who a...

Siege Mode reload times are imbalanced
I like the idea of a weapon select in Siege mode, but the problem is, the weapons are crazy imbalanced as they stand. The Nucleus is useless, with a 4 second reload, and the railgun is crazy overpowered. My suggestion is to update the reload times. Currently, they are: #Const C_RocketGain 1. ///< Ro...

[B1.1] Gamma not reset quitting a game joined from ManiaHome
I've started using the ManiaHome server browser, since it's way better than the in-title ones. However, I've noticed that when I quit a game I've joined from ManiaHome, and am kicked back to the server browser, the Gamma isn't reset, causing ManiaHome to look extra-bright. Minor issue (and can be fi...

Re: Setting round time
Are the MatchSettings files actually used at the moment for anything beyond map playlists? If so this is the first I'm hearing about it. Certainly the values in the default files (that are the same as in TM2) aren't. e: oh, I just read the rest of your post :p I agree that hopefully they'll start wo...

Re: ManiaPlanet 2 Beta Server 2012-07-19
Eh, there's probably an edge case where someone would want something to happen specifically during a map load. Figure there's already an EndMatch callback, so you might as well use them both for different things. Not a big deal either way, as long as I can have something happen when the scoreboard s...

Re: beta download size
Something relatively small for the ManiaPlanet launcher, and around ~250 megs for the game. IIRC, ShootMania doesn't use delta updating yet (i.e. updating only the changed files when a patch comes out), so every time a patch comes out, you'll be looking at another 100-200 megs. I might be wrong on t...

Re: Setting round time
Blegh, this is why the dedicated servers actually need real docs instead of "google until you find a French result that hopefully auto-translates into something intelligible." So, ShootMania doesn't use the various game-related settings in the dedicated_server_cfg.txt. At all. What it does...
