Re: MP Server not reachable?

I also had a local server problem , maybe helpfull : https://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic.php?p=272793#p272793 If you scroll a post back you find my problem. Oli gave a solution. I wondered if a static route would help. I'll have to try that. Thanks @hackie!

Re: MP Server not reachable?

At the Moment i can't say if other Players can join, or they get kicked like me. This evening i will test it with a friend. The Server and Client running in the same network, better said on the same machine. I think UDP does not work because of the same IP, but when i can play(local mode) against o...

Re: MP Server not reachable?

Are you playing on the same Local Network (LAN) as the server? If so, you'll need to join the server from the LAN menu inside the title, not through the multiplayer server browser in the title's station on the main menu. For the past few months, whenever I have tried to join a local server through t...

Re: Easy Dedicated Server Self-Hosted Guide

@mlodybumba2: Will you show us the contents of the .cmd file that you're launching the server with? Also, did you make sure you downloaded the TMCanyon title pack file to UserData/Packs?

Re: ManiaPlanet APT (Debian/Ubuntu) repository

It wasn't the on the 11th, so I waited for this forum thread to be updated. I never saw you mention it, so I didn't try again. Will try now and report back.

Re: How to setup a Maniaplanet Dedicated Server [Tutorial]

That looks legit. You are specifying the title on the command-line via the .bat file so that will override what is in the MatchSettings file, and that is great for what you are doing. One thing I would recommend is to make sure your Windows Explorer (Files Explorer) window is set to show file extens...

Re: How to setup a Maniaplanet Dedicated Server [Tutorial]

For #2, I was asking what the command-line looks like inside the actual text file that is {whateverYouCalledIt}.bat. Will you edit that file and copy the line from it so we can see if there is any problem with it? Also, will you copy the line from the MatchSettings file that specifies which title? M...

Re: How to setup a Maniaplanet Dedicated Server [Tutorial]

A few questions: Are you running on Linux or Windows? (Assuming Windows because you mentioned "bat file" but we need to be sure) What does your command-line look like in your bat? Are you specifying title in the command-line, or in the MatchSettings file? ... there may be more questions, but this ca...
