It is not about reducing the number of keys used. Having jump and sprint binded to one key adds another thing the player needs to think about. And as anvolcano said, the ability to sprint "on demand" would make it overly frustrating. If it was changed to what you are asking for, the moveme...

I like having sprint/jump binded to one key. It makes the movement a little more unique, and adds another skill factor. If people are getting frustrated with it, perhaps they are getting taken out lot because they do not know how to use it well?

I recently uninstalled maniaplanet, my rank was then set to 0, and is counting up. 0,1,2,4... It is like that on all the servers I have tried. I still seem to have the same number of LP, and my province/country ranking is the same.
