Probably just because your GPU is a bit more known than mine, ManiaPlanet already probably has some suggested settings for it while for my card it does not. Might be unrelated but if it's related, then probably different issue..

I tried reinstalling the game. When it goes to benchmark after saying it has no idea what my graphics card is, the benchmark just shows a logo and then the window just goes black. Tried waiting for 5 minutes, didn't help. And still won't start.

Hi, So got the invitation to ShootMania beta and installed everything and so on. After installing ManiaPlanet said that it doesn't have a benchmark of my GPU so it tested it (some window popped up, some text showed on it and it closed).
