Bumping the topic in hope of any more suggestions. I still can't connect to any servers since my last post.

Same specs here, also get the flickering in-game. I'm assuming it's a crossfire issue, as I've seen the same thing back when Bad Company 2 was in beta, and disabling Catalyst AI for that game made the flickering stop. I've yet to try it for SM though.

A couple of debugging thoughts: If you are able to connect directly to your cable/dsl modem, you may try completely bypassing your router altogether to ensure the problem does not lie there.
