yes neither of those had what I was looking for. However, I was able to find a free program named paint.net that I was able to edit the dds files without any additional plugins. I have made the crosshair but it is still a work in progress. Once I am satisfied I will release it for others to use. =) ...

I give up. I wish I could speak french because there is probably already what I'm looking for in one of the more popular regions forums, but here goes. I want a crosshari that looks like this. With the dot xhair and a medium square around it.
