When ManiaControl attempts to connect to my server it gives the error 'Connection interrupted during handshake'. What exactly might that mean?

Hello. Started up my own dedicated server (search for the "plays for fun" server located in Washington, USA) and finally got enough figured out where people can connect and play Melee. But I didn't set up a dedicated server to play what I can play in any other game...I want the Storm!!! So...

Please help...NO WHERE can I find how to do a very, seemingly, simply thing. Connect to my own server? How the heck do I do it? I have 20 browser windows open all searching the net looking for the one piece of information that apparently I am the only one on the internet that doesn't know how to do....

UPDATE! It seems to be keeping track of my LP as it should now...finally. But, It still doesn't show me as ranked in anything...?

There is a ladder per title. Do you look at your ladder ranking in all titles?
