When it's possible, than you'll get very long loading times for maps, etc. The power of the current TM is IMO that it's really fast to load maps, you don't need to download maps with a size of xx MB. There will be one editor, but, as stated in the first post, you will be able to import blocks and select parts of a track to move or copy. This really gives a lot of new possibilities.
