I can't say it makes no fun, but he is right in some points.
In my opinion the basic movement has to be faster. A good thing is the faster sprint which has been brought with Beta 2
But if you don't have anymore Stamina you move like a turtle

Boot the Windows Image, connect via KVM and try to repair your Windows Installation with the Windows Setup utilities.

Aren't you allowed to boot a rescue system and mount the Windows filesystem to try to fix it?
