Re: How to stop and shutdown pyplaneet and server ?

Could you try that, it should work, but however, due to some annoying changes it could be that it doesn't work anymore.

Re: How to stop and shutdown pyplaneet and server ?

If you kill the subprocess the god might restart the child, and thus won't stop the main god process. If you send a SIGINT to the god process it will carefully try to shut down the child processes.

Re: Please explain Pools & Windows start.bat

The thing is that it's using multiple processes, so it doesn't affect any performance with one of the two methods. The server gets automatically restarted in case, but in case you want more control you have to go separate. The issue isn't so easy to handle as there are no methods of controlling a go...

Re: How to stop and shutdown pyplaneet and server ?

You have to stop the script by killing or sending the sigint signal. For example you can Ctrl+C the start process, or if you start it in the background kill the main PID (but don't kill the subprocesses).

Re: Please explain Pools & Windows start.bat

With the pools you can configure and start multiple servers with just one single pyplanet process and installation. This is really easy if you have a few match servers you have to start and stop at the same time.

Re: PyPlanet Update Blog

The bugfix release 0.7.1 was pushed for resolving an issue on large servers and some performance impact when switching maps.
There is no hurry to upgrade to this version if you don't have a lot of maps and records, but we still advice you to upgrade soon.

Re: Pyplanet startup error: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named '_bz2'

Thank you for using PyPlanet. The warning is optional, however it's always good to make sure the most-used libs for Python are installed prior to build the specific python version.

Re: Pyplanet startup error: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named '_bz2'

Hi, Due to changes in a used library (pandas) it now requires Python to be build with bz2 support. If you have used PyEnv without installing bz2 libraries of your operating system it's not installed with bz2 support. If you are running Ubuntu/Debian this would require the libbz2-dev package. As I ca...
