Re: All TM2 games including launcher max 5fps

@Miss I love you. That was what I needed. This is so funny, you won't believe it. I used the Ctrl+F7 and right clicked the lag bars and found the lines were going almost off the screen. And they all said something about "Device" or "Inputs". So I sat for about 10 seconds and wond...

Re: Trackmania public server IPs?

The following worked perfectly for me (might be overkill, but oh well) init.maniaplanet.com. 178.33.248.109 mp01.maniaplanet.com. 178.33.248.151 mp02.maniaplanet.com. 178.33.248.149 mp03.maniaplanet.com. 178.33.248.239 mp04.maniaplanet.com. 178.33.248.16 mp05.maniaplanet.com. 5.135.65.155 mp06.mania...

Re: Trackmania public server IPs?

Are you talking now about TrackMania original / United / Forever (because you told "coppers"), or about TrackMania² in ManiaPlanet (where it is only about collecting Planets)? For ManiaPlanet related titles, please see here and here for server names, IPs you can find out by pinging them....

Trackmania public server IPs?

Hi all, I recently added a few Internet block lists on my firewall. Unfortunately, at least some of Trackmania's servers are hosted on OVH France. As a cyber-security analyst, I can see why it falls under a blanked blacklist (OVH, especially in France, is notorious for being a web attack source). No...

Re: Crazy lag for no apparent reason?

I'm starting to realize how disappointed I am now... I think a gamecube controller would have been pretty swell for playing with... I've always hated having to do manual PWM turns by rapidly tapping arrow keys... :( Oh well, time to start playing with controller settings. Hopefully I'll get them wor...

Re: Crazy lag for no apparent reason?

Well, I found the issue. There WAS a hardware change to my PC since last time I played the game, which I completely forgot about. I discovered this when I went on an "unplugging rampage" behind my computer. After unplugging everything but a keyboard, mouse, and monitors, I found the game w...

Re: Crazy lag for no apparent reason?

No difference. Wish I could figure out what keeps "disconnecting' when I start the game... No real way to dump the device manager on Win7 unfortunately :(

Re: Crazy lag for no apparent reason?

For the sake of argument I did just try all of those things (set settings to "Minimum Quality" as 800x600, no good. Deleted config file, still no good). If you'll read my posts - I've checked CPU, RAM, Network AND Disk I/O and none of these are even close to high. I have a medium-high end ...
