Is the alpha channel active? When you open the dds with a black alpha the picture should be full transparent (nothing visible). I use Gimp, so I´m not sure how to do things in PS. Yes, that looks fine. Now export as skindiffuse.dds as DXT5 with interpolated alpha and mipmaps! That's what i was doing mate, so there must be a way to take off that shiny thing that ruins the car skin basically ... can't seem to find what does that ... and when i change it directly ingame it make...

You have to apply an alpha channel to the pic. White is most reflective/shiny, black is no reflections/matt and different grey tones are all in between.
