Re: [Mode] Relay Mode

Nice Romain, thanks for posting that... I know for sure i would love to host some leagues in relay mode, you cannot get much more of a pure teamplay mode (allthough there are other ways). If this goes through into the game i'm pretty sure ET will pick up on the relay style races, Or least i will sug...

Re: Dedicated server software

-a TA server with 150 players, and especially LOL tracks, and more than probably hidding opponents, would be the last place where i would try to recrute for my team. 98% of players on such servers are exactly the opposite of the player profile that i can find interesting for a team. -I have servers...

Re: [Scenery] Rubbish!

That would be an idea Romain, but i guess looking at all the problems with P2P loading in time, and timeout values etc, it will maybe be worth them jsut adding the generic rubbish and leaving it uneditable. But hey, the suggestion is there if Nadeo and Ubi come up with a good and efficient way of im...

[Mode] Relay Mode

Hi All, Jsut wondering if the Relay style mod can be put in as a game type for the multi servers? Same workings as the "des bois" relay server would be fine ;) Would jsut like to see this make it in as a solid option, then we can start early with the team relay competitions ^^ Thanks alot ...

Re: [Scenery] Rubbish!

well read haenry ;) indeed the problem with user content has allways been the ability to load before the challenge kicks in, i think a good thing to suggest for TM2 is maybe that until the content has loaded that the challenge does not start on the client end? (and if after a timeout period the cont...

Re: Analog game controllers.

A keyboard and mouse don't cost $300 either. Try telling that to the man with a dinovo edge and darkfield microscopy mouse (so it works on glass ok) at home  I still think it's far too early to release a list of any kind of supported hardware, and in nadeo style they will ensure it's compatibl...

Re: Soundtrack

I'd never heard of .oggs until I played TMS, tho... Crazy, Ogg's have been around for a very long time (ogg vorbis that is)... i only know of them from downloading music though  As usual one format will be the new open royaly free kind, then someone will claim patent and rights, and then the w...

Re: Analog game controllers.

Nope, there will not be any support documentation until release, Having said that, i'm pretty sure that all modern USB controllers will be fine with it. I would reccommend for steering wheel the logitech g25 or g27 (quite expensive but very adjustable), for joystick i use a Logitech Extreme 3d pro a...

Re: Soundtrack

And then you can only have .ogg or .wav and mp3 is not supported  Thanks for the translation yrp ;) Surely if it is for our own collections and not online play to others it will be supported, i'm pretty sure we are allowed to play our own mp3 to ourselves as long as not broadcast to others...
