just to add, there is a preview for the crosshair in the new menu.
i think only the color is changing in the preview, the crosshair itself stays the same.
so maybe an error in there is causing all this...

PS: if you need more logs, guess i'd need to change to the standalone version (instead of steam)

So as there is the new menu, i use only the new menu for those settings, and this is how i see it: The real settings are saved somewhere and shown correctly in the menu.
