Great to hear! :D Bear in mind that while you're learning to drift, some turns will still be faster to do noslide, even on tech tracks. If you can manage to take a line through the curve that allows you to drive it fullspeed without drifting... you will be faster. This is true, like on A07 for exam...

I think this is actually a pretty damn good arguement compared to other reasons I prefer it this way though, as it means I can focus on some other tracks, come back to one and then go for it immediately although the waiting period may annoy me, I'm not fussed either way since I haven't got a real pr...

When I come to shoot the video it comes up with a list of codecs I should use.
I use DivX usually because its actually pretty good quality but it is a HUGE memory hog (3GB for one process and this is a 32bit program 0_0)

Any ideas what codec I should use to export my replay?

Track A05 is really good for practising drifting. It's just 2 straights with 2 180 degree corners that you do 5 laps of. So you basically have to do 10 successful long but fairly simple drifts in a row. For more difficult drifts try A15 as that has some particularily difficult corners just after bo...
