Re: Gameplay discussion
I'm not sure that we have established what will be the fastest method of cornering yet, especially bearing in mind the fast tracks that we have seen at E3 and DreamHack. It may all depend on the exit speed of a corner - we will have to work out which blocks are better to drift with a slower exit spe...

Re: TrackMania2: Centralised News about the Game
I can understand your disappointment Max, but it's not a big surprise. Nadeo are a French company, it will be easier for them if most of the beta feedback is in French, at least to start with. I am always really impressed how well everyone speaks English, but I am sure there are sometimes words that...

Dammit, I'm at work and can't watch it.
I'm willing to risk my boss seeing me, but my flash player is out of date and I have to get IT to update it

Re: Screenshot/Video/Article Collection
I don't want analog gas/brake, as it would only increase the advantage of using analog input devices. It also works fine without in TMUF. The TMUF engines are still very complex and analog gas/brake would be too much. See my post just prior to yours... it's already available. People are already rac...

Re: Screenshot/Video/Article Collection
Speaking of Analog, I'm curious as to why everyone has been using keyboards only in these videos. I know some really good racers prefer keyboards, but there are quite a lot using gamepads, steering wheels, and even flight sticks. Is Nadeo trying to show off how easy the game is to play with keyboar...

Re: The worlds First Tournament in Trackmania 2
Trackmaniak - I'd suggest PMing or emailing Nadeo (Hylis or someone) to explain why this could be seen as offensive in the States. I would just associate it with the 70s TV programme Dukes of Hazard, but living in Europe I am less aware of the cultural meaning in the US. I'm sure they will be able t...

Re: Screenshot/Video/Article Collection

Re: Suggestion: Different Wheaters
This forum has a very nice search function in the upper right corner. If you enter "weather" there, you find exactly the thread from second. But if you search for "Wheaters"? ;) On topic - its almost certainly too late to add it, it would have to be cosmetic only to ensure a fair competition on eac...

Lol - I did wonder if it was in-game sounds. It's a shame that it wasn't the real in-game fx, but at least you now know that the community likes the roar of a muscle V12!

Really nice quote there Willa - and looking at the commments on that article it seems that it impressed a lot of the public as well.
