I think the problem is that your vertex normals are wrong. You have to split them per face. When you create smooth shapes, its good that the normals are "per vertex". But when you need sharp edges, you have to split the normals "per vertex per face". found that tuto on google : http://andy.xd-artist...

Hi,
We'll add support for binary alpha (ie only white or black pixels in alpha channel)
There won't traslucent alpha, since it's only partially supported, and generates artifacts.

We tested in storm, and it works :) (the issue concerns only canyon)
We can't test everything for every release.

You have only one UV layer (typically for diffuse mapping), and the 2nd (lightmap) UV-layer is missing. the format should be 2012.2 (but it might work with older ones).
If it crashes, it's a bug ! :)
