yeah i know what you mean metoxis, i got it at your 1st reply :P
although the disabling of .loc content was just to make sure mods don't load and therefor temp overwrite your cheatmod (which is an option in maniaplanet launcher)

Although maniaplanet isn't really rocksolid..
simple example:
tmunlimiter adds a few dll files to the maniaplanet directory and adds the functionality of editing in your machine's cache instead of through the editor's restrictions.

If you build a simple modification which refers to your mod on a location outside of the gamefolder, maniaplanet doesn't have the power of altering those files.

So if you simply write a small program that can launch the maniaplanet without launching the maniaplanet.exe and run the shootmania client in your cache, you can easily manipulate the mod as well.
(for instance, you can go online using tmunlimiter client)

actually that's the only way to fight potential cheaters.
try and think like they do and expose potential flaws b4 the game is released so the game won't die in the 1st 2 weeks due to cheater heaven.

I prefer a game without aimbotting misfits , but I'm sure nadeo will manage it :)

in theory that can easily be accomplished by adding the same hitbox values and hitbox names to environmental surroundings. This way the aimbot *(which is aiming for certain hitbox values) doesn''t know what to aim for, thus make it almost impossible to create.

It is a late reply yes i know :P
Since i read there is also a ladder for shootmania it allows boosting aswell.
I have seen a few servers in trackmania forever where tmunlimiter is used
to finish a 'invisible' finish which you only see using unlimiter.

So in shootmania it could create blind spots for opponments not runing
the programm..
